Meet Zach→About Vickery
Vickery Athletics started in 2014 when coach Zach Mormon opened a gym in the heart of Dallas and wrote the first training cycle on the whiteboard.
The plan was simple and still is: structure over noise, clear progressions, real coaching, and effective workouts you can come back to tomorrow.
Many gyms deliver a hard hour. They give you one workout and couldn't care about the next time you come back into class. We coach fitness and metrics you can measure. Consistent programming, smart progressions, and coaching that knows your next step.
Today, the board shows cycles and tempos, notebooks fill with numbers, and coaches cue rep by rep while beginners and former college athletes train side by side.

Before Your First Class
Long-form guides for new and returning members at Vickery Athletics.
Solo training sounds good in theory. You control the time, the music, and the pace. But the data on who actually gets results — and who quietly stops going after month two — tells a different story. Group fitness works for reasons that have nothing to do with the workout itself. Here's the honest breakdown, from coaches at Vickery Athletics in Dallas who've seen both sides.
Read the guide →Every new member asks the same questions before their first class at Vickery Athletics in Dallas. What do I wear? How hard is it? What if I can't keep up? Here's the honest walkthrough of what actually happens during your first week — class format, scaling, soreness, and what to bring.
Read the guide →Dallas has hundreds of gyms, studios, and fitness concepts. Choosing one that you'll actually stick with for more than six weeks requires looking past the free-trial offer and the Instagram page. Here's what matters — from a gym that's been coaching in East Dallas since 2014.
