1)  Congrats on an Amazing Week 1 of the Open.

Sweat Point Awards (6pts total)

Chelsea Matthews (PW) 3 Points: For an honorable effort on her very first Deathmatch participation. Forced by her ruthless team captain, Chels rose to the challenge and performed in a big way pushing herself past her normal limit. With this effort she secures the majority of this weeks Sweat Award.


Rodrigo Caraveo (XXX) 1 Point: Rodrigo tackled week 1 head on. It was his first Open workout. Rodrigo has been a quiet addition to the afternoon classes, but he shows up nearly everyday to do work. He put his nose to the grindstone and did what he was suppose to do on Saturday blasting the Scaled Week 1 workout for his team Equinoxxx..


Chandler Blanton (PW) 1 Point: Chandler joined the gym post 2024 Open and has been in the 430pm regime ever since. She is extremely consistent week in and week out.... BUT this was her first Open workout and Chandler decided to tackle the RX version head on. Insane RX attempt for her first Open ever.


Mack "The Dump Truck" Martinez (LA) 1 point: Its not a everyday Mack gets to beat his wife Jess (our physical therapist) in a workout. Well Saturday was also not that day. Mack did what we call in Texas Highschool Football a "Gut Check" and put it all out on the line to tie his lovely wife with a score of 252 RX. This was a valiant effort to keep his place at the helm of the household. Well deserved point.


2)  Linger Update

Last week Vickery streamed "Linger" by the Cranberries 6,427,204 times. Which means only 14,635,197 listens to go until its a 1billion streams. This is the last update on this, but this doesn't mean we quit. Keep going my friends.
